This is the driver’s seat of a Triumph Spitfire 1500, a British car of which less than 100,000 were made between the years of 1974 and 1980. I found it sitting outside of an auto shop some years ago in less than mint condition. It was clear that mechanics at this shop were in the midst of restoration and nowhere near finishing. It looked old and weathered, and just left like an interesting image to me. I always rant about how people are so full of it when they talk about how real photographers just take the image that comes out of the camera and don’t do anything to them. This, however, is one image where I can honestly say that it’s unapologetically analog. Shoot photos, not each other!
